American University's Cornerstone Program is an enriching opportunity to jump start your professional career or international education. In addition to dedicated faculty and advisors, small classes, and special programming, AU Cornerstone is the only opportunity for first-year students to intern or study abroad in their first year. AU Cornerstone students also join and participate in the University College Living-Learning Community. Please note that students invited to AU Cornerstone receive this information in their admissions letter.
